Abstract

Abundance and over supply of bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis) in Laguna the Bay, the largest lake in the Philippines, which is sold almost three times lower in value than other freshwater fish such as milkfish and tilapia, has been one of the challenges encountered by fisher folks in the communities along Laguna de Bay.
