Abstract

The career preference of medical students is an important determinant of future workforce in health care system. By studying the career intentions, the dynamics of distribution of manpower among various specialities can be understood. We aim to observe for difference in the career choices of medical students at two stages of medical training, any gender relation to their choices and further determine the factors that influence the career decisions.
