Abstract

Chemostratigraphy is a technique used to correlate sedimentary successions based on subtle changes in concentration of key major, minor and trace elements. This project work is aimed at using chemostratigraphic analysis of cutting samples from Gom1-1 well in the Northern Delta depobelt to determine the major/minor element ratio as a basis of determining the depositional evironment of the sediments. Subsuface cutting sample collected from Gom1-1 well were analysed
