Abstract

Cows with subclinical hypocalcaemia have low calcium level however do not show clinical sign of collapse. Subclinical hypocalcaemia can be a driving factor behind other diseases, both infectious and metabolic diseases.

This study aims to measure blood calcium levels of dairy cows from various lactation ages (parity) as well as its relations with subclinical mastitis occurrence and milk production from several small dairy farms in West Java Province.
