Abstract

Our planet has been suffering from many calamities (both natural and manmade) which caused enormous damage on human life. HIV/AIDS epidemic can be a contemporary one which brought unforgettable and multifaceted crisis of the entire life of victims, their family and the wider society at large. Discrimination and isolation of HIV patients including their children was so harsh that makes the process of providing necessary care and support difficult. Therefore self-help associations of people living with HIV/AIDS are among the desperate option devised by people living with the disease to seek mutual help and support while the society was not ready to accept them.
