Abstract

The prevalence rates of anemia in children nationwide reached 17.6% in 2011 and the prevalence of underweight in the Barru Regency was 16.5%. This study aims to determine the effect of iron supplementation, combinations of iron, vitamins A and C to the increase the hemoglobin levels and indices elementary school students learning achievement. This research method using a purely experimental design Randomized Double Blind of pre-post test design, research subjects are elementary school students with a sample of 96 students, that were randomly divided into three treatment groups.
