Abstract

Bisphenol A is an industrial chemical that has become widely prevalent in aquatic and terrestrial habitats. Although extensive research has been directed to its harmful effect on mammalian cells, there are fewer studies on the effects of bisphenol A on plants. The aim of the current study was to investigate the effect of bisphenol A on root elongation and chlorophyll a:b ratio in lentils (Lens culinaris).
