Abstract

The development of activated carbon from coconut shell charcoal has been investigated by using physical and chemistry method to determine the influence of activation parameters in term of temperature, Nitrogen gas pressure and time period on the pore structure of the activated carbon. The coconut shell charcoal process at the temperature of about 800oC for 5 hours. The charcoal was activated by pyrolysis process at various temperature
